Have you ever wondered what successful people have that makes them successful? Ever wonder how those champion recruiters in the management of your company, month after month for most recruits, the best bonuses, the biggest paychecks?

Well let me tell you a secret. Nobody starts as a champion. Most of them started like you and me. So what makes a champion than the rest?

Champions have a attitude, an attitude that sets them apart from the rest. But most of these qualities are not exceptional.

Indeed every one of us possesses these qualities when started out in life. But somewhere along the way we tend to lose them and diminish our own potential. To be a champion, you must first become a child! Let me explain:

1. Champions are willing to learn.

Children come into this world with an innate desire to learn, to understand the world around them. They are like sponges, watching and absorbing every fact, every reaction. Because they know that their survival depends on it.

One of the most important and so often repeated, qualities we need for success in business is the willingness to learn – to teach. To be a champion, you must be willing to educate themselves or be educated, to read, learn and absorb everything you need to know, even if they are completely new to you. If not, you are doomed from the start.

2. Champions are willing to act

Do you realize how completely child oriented to action? As soon as they learn a new skill, they want to put into action.

Champions are the same. They put their new skills to use, taking concrete steps to improve its performance, so they can take their business to the next level. They know they must act on what they have learned, even if it has been. Which brings me to the quality coming.

3. Champions are not afraid to fail

As a child gets the same again and again, whenever that falls while taking their first steps, champions do not have fear of falling or not.

They know that failure is the best teacher. They learn from their mistakes and continue to refine their methods until they succeed. Champions have the value to fall and not get discouraged. They get up and keep trying.

4. Champions are willing to adapt

Darwin was wrong. Survival not given to the fittest, but most children Adaptable.As, we adapt to long-term changes relatively easily. We are more willing to accept situations and adapt our behavior accordingly. Unfortunately, as we grow, we become more rigid in our thinking, willing to accept that there may be better ways of doing things.

In a constantly changing business, resistance to change makes us obsolete. We just lose to players with better understanding the evolution of trends. Champions are those who can adapt and your business to the changing trends.

5. Champions are willing to innovate

Children are extremely inventive people. They come into this world without preconceived ideas of doing things. In his mind there is no limit to what you can do or how they can do.

Champions apply these principles to take their business to the top. Not only learn from what has been done before. They find ways to make it more efficient, cheaper, more successfully.

You do not have to be like a kid in all respects to be successful. It's probably not even desirable. But if your preconceived notions, fears and doubts is prevented from reaching your goals, try to see the world through the eyes of a child. At best, you will improve your chances of success in the worse, you will remain young at heart.
